My eats today (honouring cravings without guilt)

I was really craving this wafer ice cream that my local grocery store carries, so I decided to work it into my calories for the day. I ended up going over by about 100 calories, but I’m reminding myself that it’s okay, what really matters is consistency over the long term.

Honestly, I’m just proud I didn’t binge or go way over (like 500+ calories), especially since I was feeling extra hungry today. I made a point to cook meals that would make me feel full and satisfied, which helped me avoid overdoing it.

On a side note, this ice cream is a pretty decent steal calorie-wise, 260 calories for the whole thing, with 5g of protein! It has a crispy wafer, a rich chocolate layer, and creamy chocolate ice cream inside. Totally worth it, and it hits the spot.
