Anyone been given potassium supplements ?

I ended up going to Emergency coz of Atrial fibrillation which was not reverted after Flecainide. The duty doctor has prescribed me Potassium for 3 times a day for next 2 days. My potassium is normal at 3.9 mmol/l However, he thinks it should be 4.5 or so for people with Af which can reduce recurrence ?

Anyone saw any similar suggestions? I really wanted to check with my EP - he is on holiday unfortunately.
