40yo NASA engineer looking (quietly) for overseas job placement companies

Hey /r/AmerExit! This is a throwaway account because I’m feeling a bit exposed as a fed right now. 😬

The situation is pretty bad and is getting worse inside the US federal government, and I wouldn’t be a real engineer if I didn’t have contingency plans. I’m plain old mongrel American, so I’ll be relying on my resume to emigrate - I probably need a developed economy and I’d prefer to avoid a different authoritarian regime, but otherwise I’m not picky about country.

I have a BS and MS in engineering, an active clearance, and about 18 years of experience as a systems engineer at NASA (some contractor, now a civil servant). I currently manage a team of about 20 people with a budget around $20M (two weeks ago it was closer to 30, but there have been a bunch of retirements). My past and current duties are a pretty fun read, and I’m pretty sure the skills will translate when I get out of the “let’s go to Mars” phase of my career.

I’m looking for folks that have experiences with headhunters or job placement agencies that might know how to help. Any thoughts?
