Why therians are not scientifically possible - A research page done by Quick. Part i

Hello there, all posts that are from Therians will be ignored, unless it is fixing a mistake, that I made.

The beginnings.

For eons and eons, humans have been humanizing animals. From talking to our animals as if they were co-workers to drawing suggestive art, these acts can be traced back to over 40,000 years ago. In Hinduism and Buddhism, it is thought that one could potentially be reincarnated as an animal.

These are my thoughts where the first thoughts of the existence of therians. In 1901, a book was produced that introduced the thought of Therianthropy.

Why people often say "Therianthropy is a mental illness" (and why I mostly agree.)

On the Wikipedia page for therianthropy, it states the following; " Therianthropy may refer to

: Human-animal shapeshifting in mythology, folklore, and fiction

Clinical lycanthropy, a psychiatric delusion of transforming into an animal."

Firstly; the world we live in is not fiction. They are referring to creatures like werewolf, Wolk walkers, etc. Therefore, anybody who claims to shift has Lycanthropy. That could very well be classified as a mental illness. A study in 1988 states: "From the McLean Hospital reported on a series of cases, and proposed some diagnostic criteria by which clinical lycanthropy could be recognized:

A patient reports in a moment of lucidity or reminiscence that they sometimes feel like an animal or have felt like one.

A patient behaves in a manner that resembles animal behavior, for example howling, growling, or crawling"

It is also quite rare, so there is a high chance that 99.9% of Therians are faking it, classifying them into the same category as people who say "We are all a little autistic." Aka, they are faking a disability, or in this case, a mental illness.
