How do people graduate from college with no debt?
Like, genuinely, it's mind-boggling to me. I keep applying for scholarship after scholarship with no luck. My parents have some savings set aside for me, but even if I were to choose the cheapest options, a completely state funded school at 24k per year, I'd still be 40k in debt, and most of those schools are going down the drain anyways. The one nice option I have in state is 36k a year, but then I'd be 88k in debt. I LOVE a specific out of state school, but with my estimated SAI being around 34k, I'm probably not going to qualify for anything so that's out the window. But seriously, how on earth are people graduating college with no debt?!! EDIT TO MENTION: 40k & 88k in debt are after 4 years, not for one year
