UPDATE: Developed 7MW Need Help

I want to thank this community and all the its members that have been helpful. Almost 300 days ago, I posted on here that I had bought a property but was afraid of it all being for naught. I thought I wasted a lot of time and money and my project was doomed.

Well, as a result of that post I met some great people that helped bring this project to fruition. 7MW hosting facility!

We are now officially operating! I built the infrastructure and found a great partner to manage the hosting and operations.

It’s been a long journey and now we have machines spinning. Yay!

Lessons I Learned: Utility company’s are the worst Locking in pricing at the start of winter with a war in the Middle East sucks. Having a good electrician makes a world of difference. Research everything yourself! Even some good advice needs to be adapted to each unique project. If you don’t love mining this isn’t the business for you. With all the ups and letdowns this rollercoaster ride was stressful. I was dedicated to this project and nothing has made me happier that seeing it operation. All the financial forecasting, modeling and projections were useless. I looked at my numbers from 3 years ago and it’s laughable how different they are from reality; difficulty skyrocketed, electricity rates jumped, utilities programs all changed, transformer availability.
