Anyone else having issues with the Wicked Blu-ray audio?
My husband and I bought the Wicked Blu-ray yesterday, but when we got home, the English audio was skipping so badly that we couldn’t understand what was being said. Oddly enough, the other languages worked just fine.
We tested another Blu-ray we already owned, and it played with no issues. Thinking it was just a bad disc, we went back and exchanged it for a new copy—but the same problem happened. We tested another Blu-ray again, and it played fine, so we returned to Walmart to ask for a refund. They said they could only exchange it.
We took home a third copy of Wicked, and yet again, the English audio was skipping—both in the theatrical and sing-along versions. I called the store, and they told me to come back today to speak with a manager about a refund. When I did, they refused a refund but offered an exchange for the DVD version instead. I haven’t tested the DVD yet, but I’m hoping it works.
Has anyone else had this issue with the Wicked Blu-ray? Is this a widespread problem, or did I just get really unlucky?
