Heathrow Terminal 5

I am looking at booking Glasgow - Heathrow - Miami. BA website states I will arrive in Terminal 5 and depart T5. I have watched videos of people going from T5 to T3 but can't find anything for people staying within the same Terminal. Do you still follow the signs for connecting flights, how easy is it if staying in the same terminal? Thanks
