New hire here with a question about working on Thankgiving.

So I started working at CVS in the front of the store last saturday on the 23rd and while I was in orientation I thought I heard that despite being a new hire I would get time-and-a-half when working Thanksgiving. I worked during Thanksgiving from 4 to closing and was wondering what I heard was true or not.
