Am I doing this right?

Very new to the point system. Started with a Discover Student Card as my first card, and recently upgraded to CSR in the last couple months and have already completed SUB. I am learning about "players" in the point system so I could be totally off in my planning, but I had my GF get CFU for her spending to rack up and later transfer points, and I am interested in getting my two parents involved as well with CFUs or other Chase cards, for racking up and transferring points as well. Does the CFU earn points or cash back? Would they all need higher ranking cards than CFU?(if it is cash back and not points)So 4 players total, transferring points to the main spender/player 1(me). Is this feasible? If not what would be the best way to go about this?
