A sign from Jesus?

For clarification, I'm not an overly religious person, I don't go to church or anything and am still deciding if I fully believe in God, but a few weeks ago I had read about an incident occuring that in the world that was so horrific it left me nervous. So I decided to pray, a short prayer. I asked for a sign from Jesus, as I had so many times before, and suddenly, after saying amen it was almost as if this completely warm sensation went across my entire body. Like hugging a loved one you haven't seen in a long time. It's the most comforting moment I've ever had, and I wonder if it was a sign or my own mind comforting me.
