Security+ (SY0-601): Passed with a 777

I just finished the Security+ exam and passed with a score of lucky 777. I had prior professional experience in cyber security so I had a much easier time compared to the Network+.

Here's what I used to study:

Mike Chapple's book: I read the entire book. It's a bit too wordy. I took all the practice exams and used that to focus on what I was missing.

Mesener's YouTube Videos: I briefly looked at his videos for a refresher. Some concepts were made more clear, but overall, I didn't find his videos useful as my conceptual understanding was already solid.

Mike Meyers' Udemy exams: I found these very helpful, as they were with the Network+. The sample labs were not so useful as they were nothing like the exam's lab.

I've been studied here and there since July. I didn't exactly have a consistent schedule. Towards the end of the year, I really cracked down on studying with a flashcard app.

I might do either Pentest+ or SSCP to eventually get the CISSP.

As always, I thank this subreddit for the resources and guidance it gives!
