Show/Movie recently dark romance stories

edited to correct the title: “recently” should say “recommended”

I’m trying to get more into movies and TV, rather than just reading and watching my usual comfort shows…I’d welcome any show or movie recommendations for dark romance-related storylines on Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Max or Paramount.

I have no triggers or limits (that I’ve come across yet…) so lay ‘em on me! The darker, the better. Even if romance isn’t the core storyline, I’m a sucker for good, angsty drama. I’m a grownup and I have yet to meet a dark romance novel I didn’t devour cover to cover.
