Would China as a world hegemon actually be that bad?
Maybe all of this was really just „great TV“ and things would go back to normal soon, but the last month feels unique in terms of US willingly giving up its influence, except of course for Trumps favorite Middle Eastern country.
Europe had some great inventions in weight loss drugs and plastic packaging recently but will never achieve the level of innovation and military strength to take on the US role. Especially with all the patriots working tirelessly to undermine all efforts to restore the Europe to its former glory and put the colonies back in their place.
So what if we do welcome great leader Xi with open arms? I mean most of us are not Uygurs, and other than that they don’t seem to have that much of a problem with Muslims, so Germany and Sweden should be safe. Also conversational Mandarin is apparently really easy to learn and they use the n word as a filler word in sentences, sort of like „umm“, so for most of us it would be a seamless transition.
They’ve even got video games now and the women in them still have tits.
If we switch at just the right time when China invades Taiwan we might not even notice a difference.
Do you see any obvious downsides?
