How have the eBay changes affected you in UK?

Hiya to any eBay sellers in the UK. If you're a private seller how are getting on with the new buyer fees and payment holds? I took all my items off sale at the end of January but I'm missing my eBay store. Has anyone tried creating their own website or found another platform to sell on? I started making a site on wix but maybe shopify is better. But then you don't get the traffic coming in on your own site. I was very happy with eBay until these changes. I never have very many items on sale so can't justify the expense of switching to business seller. Discussed this with an ebay representative a while ago and they told me stick with being a private seller. Discussed the changes with an ebay representative two months ago and they reported it as a complaint but really I was just questioning the logic of making people wait for payments. I hadn't switched to Vinted because eBay's payment system up till a month ago was more favorable. I tried depop and FB marketplace ages ago and neither were as good as eBay.
