What if Miquella has bewitched Mohg?

Look I know this is maybe a silly theory given Miquella is supposedly this super compassionate and beloved empyrean before the shattering but hear me out.

What if all along our expectations are to be subverted and Miquella, for his own perhaps sinister or selfish reasons, who has been tasting nothing but affection since birth, decided that they wanted more and would choose to ascend to godhood without the approval of the greater will.

The bewitching branch tells us that Miquella can literally just turn people to his will. That’s not exactly the most subtle power a person can have at there disposal and could very easily be abused.

Do you think there’s a chance that Mohg is actually the victim and maybe Miquella has basically conscripted him?

The twist being that Miquella is forcing himself on Mohg but Mohg is blind to it/happy to do it being bewitched and all, also the temptation of becoming consort, and Miquella chooses Mohg because of his contact with the formless mother and that could open up possibilities for Miquella’s own gain?
