Spoiler-Lite Suggestions Please?

I’ve got like 4 FFVII playthroughs under my belt and just bought the steam version of Rebirth. Is there anywhere my knowledge of the old game will benefit me (or vice-versa, any old advice I should disregard)? Like “The Turks always have good s**t so rob them whenever they show up!” Or “Hang around in forests before Junon until you find a friend!”

I already found that I can’t seem to avoid the Midgarsormr with clever positioning, so there’s that.
