Ferrari vs Girlfriend

I have decent job, and I’ve saved up pretty well over the years. If I felt so inclined, I could buy a used Ferarri or other luxury car in cash with fairly low miles.

Obviously it wouldn’t be financially sound, and I wouldn’t actually do it. I’d like to buy a house first, among other things. But it’s just funny to think about. I could walk into a dealer tomorrow and have the paperwork tomorrow. Yes I’d have a drained bank account, but I’d have a car most people only dream about with no payment. Something that extravagant would be so easily obtainable, yet I can’t get a simple text back or a lunch date. I’ve been told “you’ll find someone soon” for years now. And somehow I’m never actually closer. I’m tired of it.

And before anyone brings it up, no I’m not under the delusion that the car would bring me attention from girls. I already have a quite nice car in my opinion anyway. And I’ve had plenty of time to experience going completely unnoticed by girls while driving in it.
