My GenZ niece came over yesterday and wore headphones the entire time. Is this a GenZ thing?
Millenial uncle here. My GenZ niece came over yesterday with my folks (her grandparents) and wore headphones the entire time. She was on her phone a lot but was there "to help" with our baby while my wife and I cleared out the garage and worked on the playground we're building during their 2-hour visit.
Is this a thing to wear headphones over while you're visiting family? She was clearly having trouble hearing what we were saying at times. I've never known here to have sensory sensitivities or having trouble coping with overwhelming sounds in her environment.
