In the river, when land based fishing I stick to land based baits, abit of chicken breast or thigh. Cooked bbq sausages go well for the bream. Burley up with cheetos or cheap cheese twisted puffs. Gets the bream fired up and gives you an idea of the current.

I've been throwing heavier line on one rod with a triple gang with a pilchard and a sand spike breakaway sinker in the deep for something big and just punching bream on the other.

Hey there. I used to fish when I was young, but in another country. Now I am going to be living at Gold Coast for a couple of years and I am looking to get out of the computer for a while when there is no surfing, so why not go back to fishing.
