Ħ Prediction - We will see Spheres (aka private hashgraph networks) announced fairly soon, maybe even this week at HederaCon Ħ

Just something I've been pondering. I am quite excited to see more details on these.

  1. We know Spheres have been a top priority for over a year now, with Eric Piscini (CEO of Hashgraph) on record saying this is the thing he's most excited to see

  2. Prerequisite work is complete, such as full modularization of the codebase, block stream nodes, etc.

  3. Over the past year we've seen (through interviews) the idea of spheres evolving - they started as the generic name 'SPN', and more recently we learned they have been named Spheres, and Leemon also shared some details about how they will roll value up to the mainnet (shows they have been ironing out the economics).

  4. Spheres are also a highly, highly requested feature by enterprises. See BitGo's take on it:

Hedera's upcoming permissioned network capabilities also factor into BitGo's future plans. "Hedera is looking at a permissioned offering that will allow a heavily privacy-focused company or entity to kind of have the best of both worlds," Wang explains, suggesting this development could open new opportunities for highly regulated institutions to benefit from DLT while maintaining necessary privacy controls.

Spheres are going to be one of those features that truly brings hashgraph to the masses - best of both worlds. What do you think?
