Trying to complete my late father’s souvenir mug collection – does anyone recognize this series?
Ima go on a little rant about this one.
I‘m m37 currently living in Germany. About a week ago my Father sadly passed away. When me and my Brother (m40) were going through his stuff we found some mugs from something that seemed to look like a mug collection (image down below).
He used to bring us those many years ago, when he went on business trips to the USA and these have always been my favourite mugs we had at home. And now that he‘s gone I’ve said to myself that I’m gonna complete this mug collection (or at least expand it).
Ima explain how the mugs look like (you can also look on the picture). In the very from there‘s a logo of the city, or the city itself, and on the back there’s information about the city or about the logo. The inside is coloured, each cup with a different color. The outside and shape is always the same tho. They‘re quite big, sturdy and beige coloured. The imprints are black. On the bottom there isn‘t any information at all (although mugs often have some kind of code or brand logo or sth)
Originally we had 3, but since one of them broke, we now only have 2. one is from Pittsburgh and one from New Orleans. I asked a friend of mine whether he could help me with the search. He told me that there was a community on Reddit to find stuff, so I went and created a new account and well, here I am.
Anyway, it would be perfect, if somebody could help me with this one.
