Can I Restore this old Trim?
Hey everyone! I posted here recently and the comments were very helpful.
My old 1930’s house has some trim that has been scuffed and banged up. I’d like to restore it if I can, but I don’t know much about trim so I’m asking before trying anything.
I was thinking I might be able to hand sand it, use painters tape and then restain it while it’s still on the wall. I’d rather not take it off because it looks like it’s multiple pieces and might be tricky to get back on. Not to mention how old it is, who knows if taking it off would damage it?
Any advice welcome! Thank you!
