Is it possible to have two routers using one Internet connection without losing speed?

So I want to learn about home networking. Been subbed here a while, I just honestly don’t have much time to sink into learning from the ground up.

I have Xfinity coming into my second floor office that I use for work, Zoom and Teams camera meetings. And two Pods downstairs to pick up the signal via WiFi, ethernet-ing from them into three computers, but the Pods are driving me crazy and I want a better solution.

I’m considering just switching places with the router, bringing it downstairs for the computers and using a Pod upstairs, but then wondered if I could just use a second router. Not sure if I would need to sacrifice speed by doing that though.

Thoughts? Is there a better solution using better technology?
