Filing taxes on a J1

I am a PGY1 currently on a J1 visa. As per IRS, I do qualify the substantial presence test and hence should be a resident alien, however they mention that J1 teacher/ trainees are exempt. Can someone who’s filed before, please help me figure out if I’m a non resident alien / resident alien—- and if I can use TurboTax or not? Thanks in advance
