Wartburg College in Waverly Iowa offers housing to those displaced by floods

Wartburg College is offering support for individuals and families displaced by the conditions of flooding. Free housing will be available in the college’s residence halls. These are traditional halls with double occupancy rooms, community bathrooms, and shared lounge space.

Residents who need housing can pick up keys outside Neumann Auditorium under the orange tent between 4:00-8:00pm this evening (6/24). A map of campus can be found here: https://vip.wartburg.edu/campusmap.pdf. If assistance is needed outside this timeframe, call (319)-352-8317 or stop by the Student Life Office in the Saemann Student Center.

Pull up vehicle in the roundabout circle; keep car running. Bring sheets, pillows, a blanket, towel, washcloth, and toiletries. The Mensa, Wartburg’s cafeteria, is operational. Discounted breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served.
