Both Tempered monsters and Frenzy monsters have been confirmed.

Tempered monster wound spots will be on different locations of the monster, and they will appear a purpleish blue tint instead of the normal monsters red. They also do more damage so it will be more challenging.

Frenzy monsters will also deal more damage. They will also apparently have different attacks.
