What is a California Massage?

Looking at spas in Paris, France and they offer a type of massage referred to on their websites as a California massage. I live in the US and have never heard of this. At first, I thought maybe it was simply a renaming of the Swedish massage, but further into their offerings menu, they do list a Swedish massage. So I’m curious if anyone knows definitively what this is? Thanks for taking the time to answer.
