Which branch for intelligence work?
Hi all! I'm a 26-year old (soon 27) female looking to join up but I'm not sure which branch yet. I come from an AF family so that's been my first choice but I've recently been exploring the CG a lot and have a recruiter there ready to ship me off ASAP once I apply. I'm a researcher/data analyst by trade with a STEM degree, a graduate degree, 5 years of professional experience, and I'm relatively fit (athlete all through school and an avid weightlifter now). No TS/SCI or prior service experience for additional context.
Intelligence is the route I'd like to pursue once I'm in, but I've been reading about how the intelligence specialist/analyst/etc job can look different across the branches. I'd like to shoot for OCS rather than enlist, but everything I've been told says officers pencil push, and enlisted get to do the fun stuff.
Any advice or insights would be super appreciated!
