Yu Zhong tips

I just bought Yu for my exp laner, looking for any tips.

Im finding his passive is great for trading in lane, and it feels like where most of my kill potential is. I can’t tell if hitting people while the stacks are being drained adds more though.

What should I be doing with my ultimate? Right now I’m using it to either run away or get near fights and turn back to my enhanced state. It feels very weak when I try to fight with it.

It seems like my combo is jump - petrify - spin - enhance auto.

What is the viability of Vengeance over Petrify? I seem super squishy late game. I basically have to jump in and dash backwards if I don’t want to die in team fights, and I buy Queen’s Wings and Oracle in my standard build order.

My build order is commonly Defensive Boots -> War Axe -> Hunter Strike / Sea Halberd -> Oracle -> Queen’s Wings -> flex defense item (often Twilight Armor).

Are there certain good/bad exp matchups?
