Is there usually glue on the neck peg?

I am trying the oxyclean method of getting glue out of hair. I already used baby powder before (glue came back), and the googone method on a different doll (glue also came back).

I didn't expect there to be glue on the neck peg when I removed the head. Does anyone know how many soaking rounds this might take...? I was going to carefully pluck out glue inside the head too. Any tips are welcome because I didn't want to ruin this Clawdeen. Her hair was getting glue all over the clothes :(
