Y'all really over-hyped "Destroya"🙄

Going into it, I was expecting something like Madonna's "Erotica" or the opening to The Pretty Reckless' "Follow Me Down." Instead, the so-called moans didn't sound sexual at all.

How did it gain this reputation? Was it hyped-up once it was released? Was it Gerard doing the vocals more breathy and suggestive on the tour? Did the hype lead to Gerard performing the song that way, and now it's known for "the moans?"

Anyway, I'm personally more uncomfortable with the line, "You don't believe in God," in my Christian-Catholic household, lol.
