Settling?

Just got waitlisted at my top choice, it was a long shot sorta but I’m still so disappointed:( feeling so inadequate and I’m scared that I’ll have to settle on a school I’m not thrilled about. Is anyone else feeling this way? I really don’t want to delay a year, it’s a long story but it’s just not in the cards for me. I lowkey don’t know what to do rn like how do you get excited when you just feel so underwhelmed? Like don’t get me wrong I’m grateful for my A and it’s not a bad program but idk I still have more apps to come in but the process feels kinda ruined rn??
