Error linking accounts. Supposedly email never arrives

Im trying to link both Microsoft and Steam accounts so I can play on both platforms but I always get a message saying I must complete the unlock process. I believe I'm supposed to do something but I never get an email to actually progress any further.

Tried contacting support but got ignored so far.

Is there anything that I can do to link them?
