acquiring of national id

hello po! i'm turning 18 na po in a few and i would like to ask lang po if ever i applied for a national id now, gaano po siya katagal bago ma receive? sa cases po kasi ng relatives ko, they were able to get theirs after 1 year or a few months pero i saw smth here sa reddit po na they were able to get theirs by going directly sa office smth? i just want to ask if that would be possible po ba ngayon and kaya po ba na after ko mag apply for it, makukuha ko rin agad by going directly to their office.. 😞 thanks po!
