nipple piercings & chest xrays

please removed if this is not the type of stuff u want on here, i just figured i'd ask. so i have a cardiology appointment coming up and i'm assuming they will do a chest xray, i have my nipples pierced and am wondering if i can wear plastic piercings for it. i REALLY do not want to take them out, it hurts bad to get them back in, but i'm willing to switch them out to plastic. if i need to take them out i will, i just wanna be prepared, thanks🩷
