(GM4A) 18+ The Darkest House
Hello my future friends and victims!
As a board game, TTRPG, and text base roleplaying nerd - I am looking to run someone through "The Darkest House" by Monte Cooke games. Although I have played in numerous TTRPGS over the last decade, I am looking to get my feet wet as a GM! I am a little nervous for sure so I thought why not seek out a medium I am comfortable with rather than verbally running my friends though it! Just to build come confidence in story telling and mechanical aspects.
What I have to offer: • 18 years of roleplay experience ranging from multípara to novella. I imagine this particular roleplay would be on the longer side per post, at least a few paragraphs • third person past tense • a plethora of experience creating dynamic characters, world building, playing multiple characters, and plot planning • former therapist so I have real world experience regarding mental health issues. Additionally, I think this makes me a wonderful roleplay partner as I communicate effectively and respect boundaries. Also understand that life happens and roleplay is low pressure • love sharing art/ music for inspiration
Your qualifications * please be literate, I understand grammatical and spellings errors happen but not to the extent that if ruins the ambiance and fun of the roleplay * Be able to play multiple characters. At this stage I am not looking for a group roleplay because my experience there is admittedly lacking * Respect boundaries and communicate effectively - this is a horror based roleplay so I need to understand your boundaries to make it an enjoyable and safe experience for both of us * Preferably 21+. I'm 31F myself and don't feel I really feel comfortable roleplaying with anyone younger * Be willing to roll dice, this is still based on a TTRPG after all! * Bonus: if you're willing to run your or existing characters from any (yes, I really mean any) universe through the house.
If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read through this! Just to weed out any low effort responses, please respond with a chat that includes your favorite video game, board game, TTRPG, or story you've enjoyed. In response I can send you the official description of the TTRPG to see if you are interested. Thanks again!
