Is TIT like Jak the lost Frontontier?

I love Sly and love Jak and Daxter. I was so disappointed when i bought Jak the lost frontier after Jak 3 as a child.

I crave more sly cooper but for that exact reason i always avoided it. I don't want it to ruin game of thrones for me like those last seasons.
