Linus has a victim complex and I have no sympathy for him
Linus is one of my least favorite characters because he has to insist how much of an outcast he is despite the fact he attends every social event. For someone who appears to care so little for what others think, he always acts like the town thinks he’s like an animal or you’re gearing up to spit in his face. I know there’s that one heart event where George thinks he’s a raccoon digging around in the garbage, which is a natural assumption, but Linus is quickly cared for by Gus with offers of food. And, frankly, the millionaire farmer digs through everyone’s trash every day—you’re not special, Linus!
I do like what he says about nature when he gets all Transcendentalist, but good God, man: “No one really talks to me” … “I don’t want to bother anyone” … “I don’t think I’m welcome” … “These animals never judge people by their looks. The same can't be said for humans.” !!!!
No one cares, man, and if you really didn’t care you wouldn’t bring it up half the time. I’m sorry, Linus fans.
