Alternate antenna solder point or external vxt replacement ? (mobula 7 1s, analog)
The u.fl connector came right off my 'new' 2nd hand analog mobula 7 1s and took the active element solder pad with it.
I'm not bothered as I feel like a got a good deal on the kit I brought, and I'm learning a bunch fixing things as they break. Replacing the flight controller (X12 elrs v2.2) is not a viable option however($$$), as I may as well save and buy a whole new whoop.
Is there a place to solder the active antenna element somewhere else on the board, or would it be viable to get a cheap external analog vtx module and throw it on there?
I read that you can disconnect the built in vxt, which gave me hope for the external board approach, but I'm hoping that I can just fire the vtx signal out a different way and spend money on an a30 battery connector, charger and new batteries.
Many thanks for any advice or help keeping my first proper tiny flying machine alive,
