Zelenskyy never intended to sign the trump deal

90% of media and every single European Politician are pretty clear that it was Trump, JD or both that blew up the meeting.

The 1-6 minute snippets posted with those articles or new segments are quite obvious as well.

So obvious that I got suspicious and watched the whole painful 50ish minutes of the show.

That made me realize that quite obviously Zelenskyy wasn’t coming to Washington to sign any document but rather use the Oval Office backdrop and the multitude of reporters to corner Trump into condemning Putin and most importantly giving security guarantees.

Now anyone can think about Putin and Russia and the war what they think, but the popular narrative that Zelenskyy “walked into a trap by Trump and JD” seems to be quite wrong. Looks to me quite the opposite actually.

FYI - actually my personal opinion on this is that the west should keep financing the meat grinder for another 1-2 years until Russia is hurting enough for China to make a move on them (they are very natural enemies in northeast Asia and China needs natural resources so sooner or later that’s gonna happen). But to now blame the shitshow of a meeting on Trump and Vance alone and pretend Zelenskyy is some sort of victim in this is just plain naive and stupid.
