just got kicked out of a guy’s house after bleeding on his mattress

last night was my first time ever hooking up with a guy. we matched on a dating app and seemed to click right away. i ended up at his place after our first date yesterday (which was great) and the rest was history.

this morning i woke up in his bed and there was a spot of blood underneath me. i wasn’t expecting my period to start so early but i tried my best not to wake him and tried cleaning up the mess to no avail. eventually i woke him up to tell him what had happened and he grabbed me by the wrists and told me to leave. he gave me no time to get ready or anything. mind you, i don’t drive so i had to stand on his porch in the cold while bleeding into my pants and wait for an uber. when i got home i realized he blocked my number.

all day i’ve been trying to make sense of the situation and i guess posting here is my last attempt at doing so. i liked him a lot and the feeling seemed mutual at first, yet he treated me like dirt over something i can’t control. so much for hooking up right.

edit: just wanted to say thanks for all the support shared in the comments. it’s been a rough couple of days—very emotionally isolating and draining, but like everything else in life, i’ll get over it.

also i wanted to clear up the fact that i didn’t lose my virginity to this guy. he was, however, my first and probably last casual sexual encounter.
