How Do I become A Coach?

Walmart is my first job, I started when I was 17 years old and after just a few months I knew I wanted to be a store manager. Going from Associate to Team Lead was easy, I assumed the role while I was still in school and unofficially lead the department, I out worked and out dressed everyone and took on as much extra projects and tasks as I possibly could. After not even a whole year management promised me the position as soon as I graduated. It’s been 9 months now and moving up to coach is certainly not as easy. I’ve been kicking ass and trying to build a solid team around me but there are no spots open in my own store and my region is very competitive so my application with only 9 months of management experience is not a serious contender with other applicants with years of experience. Does anyone know what I can do to move to coach before 2026?
