God damn I hate mission 10

I’m beat. It took me 9-10 tries to finally get a run where I got all the SAM sites with Ground missiles, but now I have to dogfight some Japanese kitchen gadget that doesn’t obey the laws of physics without an aerial special weapon. I’ve timed out fighting this dude 3 times, never touched him aside from plinky machine guns.

What am I missing here? Should i be doing the SAM sites with normal missiles to save an aerial special weapon for the dogfight? Whenever I try to use normal missiles to do the SAMs I lose at the 5 min mark.
