Should I take the job in cali?

I'm currently living in texas and was recently offered a federal job as a security guard in the concord california area they offered 56k per year. Would i be able to live off that or would it be impossible? Thanks

Edit: I'm married so my wife would never allow a single room and the only reason I was thinking of taking it is because I will get my oupv license. A boat license. But yeah I figured 56 would be to low it's a shame seemed good to
