Why is Superbowl such a big deal in US ?

Why is Superbowl such a big deal in US ? I immigrated to US and I have no interest in the sport but why does it feel like every single Native American is tuned in to watch the superbowl

Edit : I apologize. This post was made in a hurry and I realise that the term "Native Americans" is used in the wrong sense. I meant people who were born and raised in US, not the indigenous people.
