I just moved to Chile - are chilean men all this forward?

I’m on a semester abroad in Santiago. I’ve been seeing some chilean guys. Maybe I’m just used to english boys being so disinterested but I don’t know whether to interpret the average chilean man’s love language as overbearing or normal.

To be clear, no one has ever made me feel uncomfortable. They are often sincere and respectful. I think this is just a cultural thing, as English men are generally far from romantic.

Is the stereotype of latino men being good lovers true?
