Avowed is now my favorite fantasy FPS game

I decided to do an American playthrough on path of the damned difficulty because hey, you can only play something for the first time once. Having played Pillars of Eternity and Deadfire, I understood the assignment and immediately went searching for two pistols and an arquebus as soon as I hit a town. After crawling in, on top of, and under every building I could find in search of sweet sweet loot, I finally had the money to buy my armaments. Luckily, I had also found a pistol in a chest and a lady on top of a tower who begged me to shoot her in the face in exchange for an arquebus. Say no more, m’lady. Your wish is my command. I’m now a couple of hours in having only barely finished the first little main quest errand because I’ve been having too much of a blast (it’s a pun and the truth) roaming the Living Lands bringing freedom and democracy to all the native lizard folk and their spider friends. 10/10 Obsidian. Is Avowed 2 done yet?
