Must-play games

I’ve just recently started getting into board games a bit more (they’ve been a bit more of a casual hobby i’d indulge in on occasion if friends wanted to), but now I want to actually get into it a bit more. I’m trying to find some games to keep going with, but ideally nothing too simple - I enjoy longer games with a bit more strategy too them, but i’m not too fussed. I’ve enjoyed mostly root and mafia-like games recently, but have played and similarly enjoyed a couple others (Heat, Mysterium, Sushi go, Cascadia, Machi Koro, Munchkins etc). In general, give me a game and i’ll enjoy it. I wanna get some more games for the collection so I’m not stuck playing the same ones whenever i’m doing stuff. Is there any games that are a must-have? Thanks!
