Shadow in the UK? What happened?

Anyone in the UK know what's going on with Shadow? Various staff and management said he was coming in store today and they were in the back of the stores, but everyone I've spoken to (and phoned two stores) have said Shadow is gone, and has been taken down off the website and it is unknown if and when he will get a restock, Tails style. Sonic never came in either, on the website or otherwise.

Secondary market prices are insane on eBay for Shadow as a result - I wish I'd just ordered online at this point. Does anyone have any other info about the situation?
